Head of Arizona Operations / Head of Arizona Facility Construction | Lucid Motors
From March 2019 to January 2023, Mr. Boike served as Head of Arizona Operations and Head of Arizona Facility Construction for Lucid Motors, where he led the development, engineering, construction, launch, and operation of North America’s first bespoke electric vehicle manufacturing greenfield. He also negotiated incentives and development agreements with state, county, and local government organizations.
Casa Grande, AZ, was selectively chosen as the site for Lucid’s first automotive factory. Mike oversaw the $1.5B infrastructure for the greenfield manufacturing facility on schedule, including the design, engineering, and construction. He scaled the Manufacturing Organization into a world-class team of 2000+ employees in less than 3 years by simultaneously defining the culture, building the factory, assembling the team, commissioning the equipment, and training the people.
